Five reasons why we should learn Sanskrit



In our country, to date, we have debated making Sanskrit a mandatory language in the school course curriculum. After a lot of discussions, the Supreme Court has given the verdict that the central government will make Sanskrit as the additional language for all the central government schools. Researches have stated that Sanskrit has many benefits in the everyday learning and brain development of a child.

Some of the advantages of why we should learn the Sanskrit language are as follows: -

·         Language for computers: For computer programming, Sanskrit is an ideal language. According to Rick Briggs Sanskrit is one of the best languages for the artificial intelligence. 


·         Spirituality: The heritage of India is scribbled down in the old religious texts of Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Arthashashtra with Sanskrit. So, every child should know the Sanskrit language to know the religious verse of our country. 


·         Increases gay matter: Everyday learning Sanskrit language will help the children to have a regular                                                                                brain exercise. 

·       Better pronunciation: Sanskrit is one of the toughest languages to pronounce. So, it will help the children to improve their pronunciation and will bring clarity in their speech.
·         Educational scope: Sanskrit is “mother of all languages”, it’s very good and one of the best language for higher studies across the globe. Also, it has a lot of career option in India and abroad. 


So, teaching your child the Sanskrit literature is worthwhile for his future career of your child.

Since the inception, English was the language of England but our history says that under the imperialism of British empire many states adopted English as their primary and secondary language.
